Yeah exactly, there’s an air of “we have to open up and “play”, we’re West Ham, at home…”. Almost an irrational identity, a duty, a bit like Man United have.

I think that’s the challenge with him. Low upside when you start and fairly rare he comes in as auto sub to give you value as 1st bench. Personally would rather spend more on a 5th mid and play them every week due to Midfielder points upside. Is hard to upgrade if already own though.

Has he been on that? I get the temptation with the price but midfield slots are too valuable to have him in there.
