There's a lot to learn from Minnesota, and we need to start thinking about and applying those lessons now so we can be prepared for when the next call comes.

For national groups & networks (like us at @powerswitchaction.org), there are 3 key things I've been reflecting on:
✅ Going on offense allowed MN to make this a national fight
✅ Degrees of trust shaped the roles we were able to step into
✅ We had to prepare for things we’ve never imagined before

There are many important lessons from Minnesota, from on-the-ground organizing tactics to messaging and narrative strategies.
It's also important to note that they were led by a diverse group of folks, from traditional institutions like nonprofits and unions to decentralized volunteer structures.
