First they come for trans people. Now they’re pulling Pride flags off Stonewall. Make no mistake: this is about erasing LGBTQ+ history, visibility, and lives. We’re still here. And we’re not going anywhere.

Justice for Alex Pretti. Abolish ICE. Prosecute all ICE officers and local, state and federal officials, elected or otherwise, who enabled these atrocities to happen.

Stonewall DFL and Minnesota will not rest until this work is completed.

Stonewall Democrats Condemn Anti-Trans Vote

TODAY’S House vote on Marjorie Taylor Greene’s anti-trans bill is a cruel and calculated attack on trans people. It is also an obvious distraction. This was never about protecting anyone. It was about fearmongering and giving MTG another moment in the spotlight.

And we will not forget the Democrats who helped make this happen. By voting yes instead of no or even present, they made trans people less safe and handed Republicans a victory built on attacking our community. That choice matters. If they had held the line, this bill would have failed.

“Republicans have no problems letting children die of preventable diseases. They don’t care what happens when children lose their health insurance. But when doctors want to treat children, and when parents agree to the treatment, suddenly they are concerned.

We are watching. Our community is watching. And we will remember who stood up and who folded.”

Trans lives are not symbolic. They are real. Votes like this put trans youth and families directly in harm’s way.
This bill is also a blatant distraction from the real damage Republicans are doing. Their refusal to extend ACA tax credits will increase healthcare costs for millions. Instead of owning that harm, they chose to scapegoat trans people.

Now the Senate must act. Senate Democrats must hold firm and kill this bill. No excuses. No deals. No throwing trans people under the bus to appease extremists.
And as for Marjorie Taylor Greene, this is exactly who she is. A chaos agent with no interest in governing, only in attacking vulnerable people for attention.

Republicans scapegoat trans people to distract from their own failures. Some Democrats helped them do it. We see it. We remember it. And we’re not backing down.

Trans youth deserve safety, care, and support. Not harassment from politicians who should know better.
Tell Marjorie Taylor Greene to find a new hobby that isn’t bullying trans kids.

Let’s be clear about why Republicans shut down the government:

To take away your health care in order to pay for billionaire tax cuts.

Congress is moving bills that erase LGBTQ+ people, deny gender affirming care, and cut lifesaving programs. These are attacks on our dignity and health. Our Pride belongs in the Capitol, and our voices must be heard. Stand with us and take action today: stonewall.hilltop-app.com

Authoritarians thrive when truth is hidden and voices are silenced. That’s why we fight back, organize, and speak out. If democracy dies in darkness, fascism thrives in it.

✊🏼🏳️‍🌈The labor and LGBTQ movements are bound together. Unions fought for protections queer workers couldn’t get anywhere else—healthcare, dignity, and equality on the job. Our struggles are connected, and so is our power. #UnionPride #Solidarity

Statement from the National Federation of Stonewall Democrats and the Texas Stonewall Democrats
What's happening to Rep. Nicole Collier in the Texas House is unacceptable. She is being denied the basic right to leave the chamber, threatened with police custody, and placed under constant surveillance simply because she and her colleagues refused to hand Republicans a quorum. That is not how democracy works—it's an abuse of power.
We stand with Rep. Collier and applaud Texas Democrats for refusing to go along with this power grab. Their courage in the face of intimidation deserves recognition and support, and we call on allies to join them at the Capitol and speak out until this ends.
Moments like this remind us of what's at stake. Too often, Black women and LGBTQ+ people are forced to fight unjust battles without enough backup. We cannot allow that to continue. Just as Democrats are standing strong here, we urge them to show the same resolve when Republicans introduce anti-LGBTQ bills that target our community.
Equality, dignity, and democracy are all on the line.

In the middle of the night, spineless Republicans struck a deal to rip healthcare from LGBTQ+ people, disabled folks, and working families. The “Big Beautiful Bill” is nothing but cruelty and chaos for everyday Americans.

56 years ago at Stonewall, queer and trans people, many Black and brown, said enough.

It didn’t end the fight — it sparked a movement.

What we’ve won can still be taken away.

Not just in June. Every day, we fight.

Every kid deserves to see themselves reflected in the classroom. This ruling tells LGBTQ+ students they don’t belong—and that their lives aren’t worth respecting. It’s wrong, it’s dangerous, and it’s cruel. Full stop.

Pride isn’t just a celebration. It’s a call to action.

Because Pride is protest.
Pride is power.
Pride is political.

Join the movement. Fight with us.

But we’re not backing down. We’re organizing.

🗳️ We’re building queer political power in every state.
🏛️ We’re pushing the Democratic Party to stand firm in its values — and reject those who would drag us backward.
🌈 We’re making it clear:

100 days of attacks.
Trump’s return = a brutal assault on LGBTQ+ rights:

Banned trans troops
Stripped health protections
Banned books & queer history
Blocked asylum seekers
Trying to erasetrans identities

They’re legislating hate. We’re not backing down.
