The newer releases of iPad Pro (2024~2026) are more specialized into drawing than previous ones and it's a great combo between drawing tablet and being a smaller laptop. Downside it's quite expensive.

I own one and it's running smooth and easy to work with

The last several commissions I got ofc with asking the artist if they are fine with, I provide them with description and sketch. It gives them a good follow up and better understand the idea, imagination of the commissioner.
