🗳 There were 5 local council by elections on Thurs 12th March:

🔶 LIB DEMS WON 3
* 2 HOLDS
* 1 GAIN
> Lib Dems were second in a fourth seat .

🗳 Over the 5 seats the Lib Dems polled an average of 35.72%.

Not bad for a party that polls will have you believe are trailing in 4/5th place 😘

The green self hype appears to have exhausted itself . Populist lines only get you so far - I’m pleased the Lib Dem’s have taken the populists & have done rather well .

Peaked imo - if/when Labour recover they will dip further . Recent By election results must be bitterly disappointing for them .

The ‘Green Party surge’ appears to have been mostly a mirage and by-election results support this . A modest Labour recovery is likely to shrink their support further.

Forget Labour & the Green Party - it’s the Lib Dem’s taking on the right wing & beating them - well done 👏
