Maybe the word ‘older’ wasn’t the best lol. I was 7 when it came out so I missed it in its heyday.

I was pleasantly surprised. I originally was just looking for older cartoons to introduce my kiddo to but was pulled in by the movies/shows listed.

I haven’t read the comics, but to an outsider it sure looked like they tried hard to capture the visuals. It was a treat to see all the costumes and props. The ripper makeup was something else lol.

I knew there was a connection with the art but I didn’t realize all the characters were from the same universe. The movie definitely piqued my interest in the comics. I‘m going to see if my library has access to them 🤞

Watching older films on Tubi has been my jam lately. Had a lot of fun watching Desperately Seeking Susan, Singles, and Tank Girl for the first time. A Knight’s Tale is one of my all-time favorites and a comfort movie 💚

I watched Hackers for the first time recently (I was a bit young when it released). Thought it was a lot of fun and is probably one of my new favorites.

If I hadn’t seen the ‘hack the planet’ gif I probably would never have known about it. Also fell in love with the song Halcyon On and On💚

We started some herbs and flowers, and will be starting some tomatoes/peppers soon.

It's been nice to delete social media off my phone again. Some things I've been up to:

- Reading The Forgotten Beasts of Eld by Patricia McKillip
- Attempting to make a neocities site
- Starting seeds and planning the garden
- Baked some bread

My weather app has gotten so bad lately. I've started to check the local news stations for weather again.

I've deleted all the fun things off my phone (again). Here's hoping that I can stick with it 🤞
