God, the pair of them were incredible. It really hit close to home for me too because I'm very close with my mum and was her primary carer when she battled through cancer. So that imagery in The Bar Scene really cut deep. Incredible television. Hats off to you Sir!

God that sequence with John and his mum was just harrowing especially after the pictured scene above when she’s wandering the disco floor looking for him. Ben acted his heart out in that scene goddamn! Helluva episode Ricky- one of my top faves!
