Season 1 of Pokémon feels almost like it's a parody of shonēn anime, taking tropes and making jokes and quips about them. Ash/Satoshi being a kid with the spirit of a protagonist in that genre, but is very lacking in skill, competence, and luck. He's learning in real time and it's very charming.

Pokémon Champions has been fun! Been lingering around at the cusp of Master Ball rank. It looks very scary, but honestly I feel very competent in Ultra Ball so far with no major ceiling felt. I think I might be good at it, but I wouldn't know that based on how I play with my friends.
If you ever see me type into a damage calculator, I already lost the war.
We win with our favorite fellas or we don't win at all. The intimate knowledge I have on how Dunsparce interacts with any other species of Pokémon makes me an expert in a niche field of research.

I started doing the mountains from the bottom to the top, and now I know I can do the southern and central mountains better. So I'm probably gonna start over.

I finally got around to playing DQV and the story is every bit as good as it was hyped up to be. And it was very nice to play FE:Echoes as a modern Fire Emblem that's story wasn't affected by the hurdles of having a custom self-insert protagonist.
I need to learn where to get this Pikachu's eye shadow.
The overlap is unreal, I could basically just steal this but slap Metal Slug 3 over Mario Kart with scotch tape.
