The twist in the movie is so well known, but I haven't seen it. However, I’ve read the book it’s based on “Make Room! Make Room!” So, I’ll look at it from the lens of a sci-fi book nerd but mostly I’ll just have fun with it, as I read the book years ago.

All of the beats for this being a Romance between Cruise and Moore are there. Over the course of the movie he becomes a better person while following her advice and she finds herself more attracted to him, even asking him out. The only thing missing is a kiss at the end of the movie.
