4. These aren't exotic. Common Lisp, Racket, and (to a lesser extent) Clojure are real production languages. Racket's #lang system is the whole point of the language โ every file can be a different language.
apparently racket and common lisp are more industrially ready langs than clojure! gtk!!!

Happy easter!
Piggybacking to share my post about how sometimes *good* software goes to space, too: @racket-lang.org . But not until I could figure out whether License Exception TSU under part 774 of the EAR implied an ECCN of EAR99. (I know you're dying to know, too.)

Hot off the press!
We're running a user study, maybe you can help!
We're studying the effect of new ways to show code diffs to programmers, and looking for participants for a 1-1.5hr virtual user study. In the study you will be shown several diffs and asked questions about them.
We applied for bsky verification on the weekend. No idea how long it takes.

I built a new thing: samth.github.io/rackup/
It's an installer and toolchain manager for @racket-lang.org. It works on Mac and Linux, it lets you install any release including from 1996, and it features all the latest bells and whistles.
Also it was built almost 100% using AI.
Ubuntu PPA for Racket 9.1 is now available at launchpad.net/~plt/+archiv...
Many thanks to Asumu Takikawa, David Bremner, and Sam Tobin-Hochstadt for all their work.
