Wow 97 was a crappier year than I remembered it. Guess I’d have to go Lost Highway but feels weird. Maybe Boogie Nights, Jackie Brown or Starship Troopers.
Excited to have played on the 28th best song on this album!
"Sorry to hear you're having issues - did you try your other Outlook?"
Feel this for sure. I’ve made peace with the cons (everything you laid out really) in favor of the unprecedented access for this music in one weekend. I love that this fest happens in the South. Can be a psychological grind though.
Stone Cold Steve MODOK
PTA made a massively popular epic that starts off with a guerilla activists raiding an ICE camp, what else do you want from the guy?
Insta-favorite. Punch in an equation, then hear it rendered in a surprisingly powerful synth engine.
Plus more on how a real TI-82 or later can be a synthesizer.
life-changing album tbh.
You continue to act like the Covenant shooter was somehow covered up despite it being an enormous nationwide story, and at the same time you seem to have forgotten the other major Nashville shooting (along with most other people), which was by a straight male. Seems to contradict your own point.
This person sucked. But for the record, is that what you say after after shooting by a straight male too?
Stuffed Spider - Mixed Masks album cover
New Stuffed Spider EP, "Mixed Masks", out this weekend on Standardized Testing. Digital streaming and Bandcamp. Grimy, doomy noise-rock-esque collage and walls of synths. stuffedspider.bandcamp.com/album/mixed-...
Ayyyyyy
Does he think that’s a threat?
"You've just got to feel good, kind of like when you're the Cleveland Browns and it's the 4th quarter and you're up 20-13 on the Denver Broncos and you've got them pinned down at their own 2 yard line with 5 minutes left to play."
who was this mystery blocked poster?
My 70-something dad gets so angry that ebooks cost actual money (as opposed to $2-$3 he remembers them being early on). "There's no manufacturing costs! What am I paying for???"
actually you're supposed to drop one of the cinderblocks on your tire, bending it and making it inoperable/unappealing to thieves.
His head was possibly messed up from doing too many windmills.
Not only was it not the theme but it also reveals a severe misunderstanding of how “voltron” works as a collective identity. Sad.
I agree with Noem for once
ICE agent hopefuls going through bouts of anxiety as they continue scrolling for "Easy Apply" job listings throughout DHS, paranoid that their cover letters have too many em-dashes.
Commenting and liking each other's thought leadership posts about Call of Duty.
or just, "cheap-ass talk show like on TV but cheaper"?
Once again found myself writing an entirely new 20-minute abstract music piece in response to an invitation to play a very small/intimate performance thing this weekend.
It's the second day of 2026 and journalism is already off to a bad start.
What do you suggest they do? These are professional people depending on a job that basically exists nowhere else. Should they go start a YouTube channel?
This country unfortunately isn't built to support people with families who want to quit their job based on ideology.
MTV was at its peak importance for me in 86-89 or so precisely at this time of year, when I’d spend all day checking in on the year’s top 100 videos countdown. for better or worse, it was basically my pop culture super bowl.
I'm not saying that as an excuse to avoid it - just saying that dealing with it appropriately seems out of reach for the folks most likely to assume control if we're lucky. Hope I'm wrong!
Agreed a sane person isn't a fan. my concern is that cowardice is still violent and has gotten away with a lot in the last few years. holding it accountable is going to create a generation of "martyrs" (already saw this post Jan 6).
