While I enjoy critiquing The Rings of Power as much as the next person, I think a lot of people would find it’s much more fulfilling to turn all of those lovely ideas about what the show “should’ve been” into fan art or fan fiction than it is to simply complain online all day! 🫶

To this day, I still think this is one of the most interesting lines written for the show and yet I don’t think it’s been discussed much in any interviews which is a total bummer.

Conversely, Galadriel perceives the mind of Sauron and is thus able to ultimately play a major role in his downfall.

Tolkien writes that Manwë was unable to comprehend evil because he himself was free from it—which led to his disastrous decision to pardon Melkor. I wonder if the TROP writers had this in mind when they wrote the dialogue between Galadriel and Finrod about touching the darkness.

We recently got news that S3 of Rings of Power finished filming, so this is your reminder to go read Unfinished Tales before it drops. esp if you had issues with S1+2. Once you read UT you'll see why the showrunners made some of the decisions they did bc the show is like a loveletter to it.

A new Rob interview from a week ago for his new movie. Looking forward to seeing it one day. There was quick tidbit about his shooting schedule for #TheRingsOfPower S3. Assuming that’s the end point for everyone as well, and the 4/30 start is true, it would be 8 months.

How can anyone hate on Sauron/Annatar’s look? He’s absolutely perfect, especially with that sweet little bow in his hair—my precious Belle of Middle-earth. I hope that in the next season of rings of power, they make him look even more badass!
