The future of making sure you don’t leave this guy alone with your drink

Honestly it’s still probably, what, 50-50?

I wish “Ternus" was spelled closer to “Turnip” so Trump could, at some point, at least run a really good risk of calling him “John Turnip”.

I don’t know whether there’s actual direct lineage back to the Howard Dean campaign but I really don’t like that it’s at least plausible he / we kinda let that horse out of the barn. Lord knows the semantics of a phrase can change over the time, but yeeesh is that so icky.

It all seems easy until Frakes starts playing trombone when it’s just the two of you heads-up.

In the sense of “Oh, God, no!” Sure.

hot-doggedness isn’t some kind of likelihood or propensity or shade of gray. It’s a binary. You is or you ain’t.

Gotta insider trade while the insider trading is hot!

I’d need it to extend outward no more than 2”-3” from the mount.

Gang: Is there a good VESA mount for a 24”-27” LED monitor that you could hook on a countertop behind a desk?

Classrooms are getting too hot. OUSD finally has a plan to cool them After months of community pressure, Oakland Unified School District staff outlined what they’ll do this summer to make classrooms less sweltering during August and September heat waves.

I remember being in elementary school in Indiana, and they were building new right next to the old one.

We had to keep the windows and doors closed. And the old building had no A/C. Winter was fine, but May / June / Aug / Sept sucked. It was Very Not Good.

I figured it was probably the structural cost being far greater than the relatively inexpensive land acquisition and install. It sure seems like you might want to incentivize diffuse and widespread production given AI is coming for all our electrons and water. But 🤷‍♂️

With the Tippecanoe Mall and all the big box store lots, there’s a huge amount of intra-urban generation capacity opportunity available.

Dunno if that would be changes to the zoning code or if variance grants alone could allow it?

I’m not sympathetic to the anti-development sentiments, etc., but it *does* really does seem like there are ways to do this at utility scale that kind of everyone could agree with. Covered parking spots!

I suppose it’s all zoning-related, yeah? And then you invoke APC, BZA, city ad county councils…

That Cheechoo season in 05-06 was absolutely unreal. It was like he and Joe Thornton simply knew if they could tape-to-tape they’d have a one-timer in the basket. #SJSharks

As someone who goes by “Chuck”, the Sharks having a guy named “Ostapchuk” really makes me feel…. well, a bit scolded? But certainly much more directly engaged!

Also if you’re so bad at your job as a prosecutor (cf., a grand jury will indict a ham sandwich) that they’re dumping your handiwork maybe… consider going to work at a deli making ham sandwiches?

I am not a lawyer, but I think the way it works is when you get a no true bill from a grand jury, you *checks notes* literally have to take it and walk away.

what’s maybe most worth noting is that’s it’s kee-you-pee, not the palatal consonant / glide “kyu-pee" like as in “Kyu Sakamoto”.

Wow apparently people in WeHo are thinking they might have a tornado up in their balls?

I don’t think and certainly hope you don’t, WeHo.

A million percent yes. You, go into the bathroom. Me? I’m going to go out and look west.

As a native Hoosier, go out and look to the west.

Hilariously I have told my West Coast friends to just run inside and curl up by the bathtub.

Hoping you are safe.

“What are we celebrating here?”

Did I miss this being a rhetorical question?

Donald Trump is … wait for it… Celebrating Donald Trump.
