I figure communications in the form of telepathically "spoken" words get processed by the recipient through auditory processing channels and thus are experienced as being "heard." Neurocognitive quirks of the sender manifest as audio effects.

Bianca could pass for human except for her coloration. She can't pass for an albino human, because her skin is a faintly bluish frost-white rather than a pinkish-white. Even if she dyed her skin, the grayish-blue tongue would raise some questions.

Smiley is the only member of the Weird Luck webcomic's main cast who's got kids. Not sure if he qualifies as a queer parent, though: he's queer enough, but hasn't done any actual parenting of the kids he's fathered. He doesn't even know about all of them.
