relating my immigrant experience to his in many ways and im going to reread every jay appearance to formulate more thoughts on him that will make more sense perhaps

everyone in secret six was going through something and everyone was pushing each other to do good but i think having it on paper that jay was ultimately the only one who had to continuously push his own feelings aside for the sake of others was Very good and when he finally snaps it makes sense

i do like that in secret six we finally see jay kind of break that cycle and put himself and his feelings above it all and act on it despite how he may be viewed. i do think it captures jays entire essence well and showing you what exactly caused the breaking point

i think what draws me the most to jay as a character is his desire to be good and do good, he's always the one to act out of selflessness while those around him seem to not think twice before they act which in then makes it so he feels the need to fix whatever went wrong
