Good morning to every single one of you this morning, but especially to Oliver Glasner, Ismaila Sarr & Eberechi Eze πβ€οΈπ
Home. Finally.
What a superb day. This lot are fucking special man.
WEMBLEY AGAIN OLE OLE β€οΈπ
Yep, nerves are real this morning. Very, very real.
Just sat at work daydreaming about how much a Wembley BOOOOM would hit like crack tomorrow π
But mainly, Daichi Kamada deserves so much credit. He was our MOTM tonight. Arguably the best player on the pitch. Heβs been contributing for a while now & I really hope the fans start to trust him like our brilliant manager does. Heβs an important part of this squad & deserves our backing. #cpfc
If we do come through with a win on Sat, it'll be down to the way Glasner has managed this squad in the last week or so.
Tonight went as well as we could have hoped. Rested players. No injuries. Solid performance. Not lost. Could have nicked it.
Wembley... Bring. It. On.
Say what you want about this Palace side but even when they're not quite at it, they will dig fucking deep.
As disappointing as losing the way we have in the last 2, I think a drop off after the run we were on & the semi-final in the back of the players' minds is totally fair.
Completely trust Glasner to kick them back up the ass & get a reaction on Sat though.
I think resting Wharton tonight is a good call. He's played lots since his injury.
Regardless, I think tonight is a big ask. Will be very pleased if we pull out a draw.
Love this π
Gutted I had to miss that, but there's no way my ankle would have survived π
What a fucking performance though. Not seen us dig deep like that for a long, long time. Love, love, love this squad.
And a special mention to Daichi Kamada. Proper performance.
So sorry to hear this Nav. All the best.
This has gone now
Perfect, I'll drop him a message!
No problem, let me know
I've been reluctant to give it up, but I have a fractured ankle & going to the match tomorrow isn't a good idea.
My ST is therefore available. Upper Holmesdale. Β£30.
Give me a shout if you want it.
He can but I'm also with you π
Wembley.
I don't know if it's the 3 week break, but I'm really not confident today.
I think it's all to play for & Fulham won't play as badly as they did a month ago.
Either way, let's put it all out there & see what happens.
Glasner's got this. Let's do it, boys!
There are members of our fanbase so convinced that Kamada is a failure that theyβll look to deny his role in a goal, whether intentional or not.
I actually think itβs quite embarrassing. How can you want someone to struggle just so you can be proven right?
Richards is super important to Glasner's system
It was absolutely time for him to go, particularly when you consider the health problems he began to have.
We also played really good stuff following De Boer when we had the likes of Cabaye & Loftus-Cheek.
Roy was capable of it, I'm not sure what made him do it or not do it. Trust in certain players, maybe?
Everyone is way too happy with this line-up (rightly so), so cue the inevitable home defeat π
For what it's worth, I think the wins are coming there, too. We've not been bad by any stretch recently but have made a number of individual errors that have cost us. We'll get it right soon.
