Sorry about the lack of Patreon updates. I’ll make a couple new episodes soon. Right now I’m working on like 4 projects at once and am pretty overwhelmed.
… I’ll get around to it soon though!

The non-Disney American animated films are nearly (or literally) impossible to find in Japan and it really frustrates me I can't show them to people out here. I'm talking about the Don Bluth films like The Land Before Time... and even Top-Craft films like The Last Unicorn. ☹️☹️☹️
Yes, I’m talking about leaks.
Any real fan will avoid episode/movie leaks like the plague.
For the rest of you, what’s it gonna take for you to realize you’re hurting the artists w/ this shit? Some artist killing themself? Shame on all of you, especially the inhuman scum leakers.
I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again. Most artists don’t work for the money (which is usually pretty low anyway) they work for the moment when their project is released & enjoy & celebrate in that moment.
To *steal* that from them is the height of hate and disrespect for them.
I’m storyboarding multiple things at the moment and having to deal with totally different challenges depending on the project. So I think that’s what my next Patreon video will be about. “Storyboarding and the various problems I’ve encountered.”
Please check out my Patreon account where I talk about my animation career, breakdown sequences I've animated, and answer questions people have about how I approach animating. If you're interested in working in anime, this is basically a 1 on 1 lesson.

New Patreon video is up! I talk about my experience working the new Lupin III film "Lupin the IIIrd the Movie: The Immortal Bloodline" and I break down my animation sequences from the movie and talk about what I learned. Check it out here:

Thanks! Glad you liked it!
My plan was to do a Patreon video about the "Toumei Otoko" animation I drew a couple weeks ago, but now I'm thinking I might make one about the Lupin the IIIrd animation first. (Either way, a new episode will be coming soon. Sorry for he delay!)

To be clear, I am *not* working on Blue Box season 2.
I can’t reveal anything about the other things we’re working on… but “Electric Circus” is a name anime fans should remember. You will be seeing that name again, attached to *gigantic* franchises.
Today it was announced a new anime studio “Electric Circus” is taking over production of the “Blue Box” anime series.
As written on their website, Electric Circus is the heart & soul of the -now gone- Telecom Animation studio.
This is where I’m working & BIG things are coming.
So the studio I’ve been working at has finally been announced… but not for the project/s I’ve been working on.
I’ll announce what I can for now (which is limited to basically the information available on the website)… but be on the lookout for way more news in the future!
First up is finally finishing "Iron Blooded Orphans."
I re-watched the 1st season last week.
So far, I like this series a lot. It's story is much simpler than a lot of Gundam series (not a bad thing) and i like how the main characters are just straight up killers.
The most daunting "anime I need to catch up on" in my backlog is the Gundam series. I've seen every Gundam through around 2017 when I never watched the 2nd season of "Iron Blooded Orphans."
There's a long list of series since then, so this'll take a while.
Thanks! Glad you liked it! That was a fun one to draw, and (to my surprise) it came back with *zero* corrections, meaning they put it in the film the exact way I drew it in my original layouts. 😁
The two sequences from my previous post were my favorite to draw, but I also animated this segment from the final battle. (I also cleaned up a lot of 2nd key animation, whose layouts were drawn by veteran animators throughout the film. It was an *amazing* learning experience!)
LUPIN THE IIIRD THE MOVIE 不死身の血族、アニメーターとして参加しました。よろしくお願いします!
I had the intense pleasure of animating for "Lupin the IIIrd the Movie: The Immortal Bloodline." Working with Takeshi Koike (& animating gory anime scenes!) was a dream come true.😁
#lupin #anime #ルパン三世
"Lupin the IIIrd the Movie: The Immortal Bloodline" by director Takeshi Koike is now available on DVD & Blu-ray!
I drew Layouts & Key animation for parts of the final battle, & cleaned up lots of 2nd-Key animation scattered throughout the film. If you're a Lupin fan, don't miss it!
For my scenes in Toumei Otoko #11, episode director Chafik asked that apply my "Kuzan" animation effect to the outline of the character's skin to convey how panicked & drunk he was. The over-all style & line-work looks different, but the animation method I used was the same.
Went to the Black Clover exhibit in Tokyo today.
Very cool getting to see the original artwork from the manga.
I wanted a Liebe plushy but they were all sold out. 😣
On the subway car in Tokyo right now and someone in here *definitely* shit their pants. 🤢
I'm super proud of Chafik & think he did an incredible job with the episode.
This episode is yet another example of how the skills we all learned while working on Wanokuni, under Nagamine-san's direction, are influencing many anime, even outside of One Piece.
I drew animation for "The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife" episode 11.
It was fun drawing animation for a type of series I don't usually work on.
This was (Wanokuni production manager) Chafik's debut as an episode director & many of us One Piece animators showed up for him.
A new (Free-for-everyone!) Patreon video is up where I give a quick update and answer a few questions people had.
I'll make another video for subscribers very soon, sometime next week!

Some new animation from me will be airing next week. 😁
On what series? …You’ll have to wait and see. It’s very random.
Just to talk to you guys. And to reconnect w/one person I couldn’t find on other social media. I won’t actually be posting on the new account though.
Just once (maybe someday😭) I would like to actually storyboard a 1 vs 1 battle. Cause all these group fights where I need to keep the locations and actions of a bunch of characters in mind at all times makes my eyes spin and brain melt.🤯🤮🤕
Agreed on that too!
Yes. Agreed!
Ohh, and 5 is one of the (if not *the*) best Dragon Quest game! So you still have some greatness to play before you’re caught up! 😁
(4 is “meh” imo😅)
