Interesting little tidbit I noticed while doing research for a story - there was a 2022 proposal to upgrade the bunkers at Camp Canada at the Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, demolishing old ones and putting up eight three-channel bunkers and two single-channel bunkers.
“Are there any Canadian soldiers on exchange with U.S. military units involved in Operation Total Extermination” is a real question I’ll have to ask in 2026
It’s been 16 days since I sent in follow up questions to the DND regarding this story - nothing.
CAF and RCAF often train with the 82nd down at Fort Bragg (now Fort Liberty) and personnel exchanges happen as well.
