I do not see the median (e.g., not super well heeled Ivy and probably not even them) being "leaders" in AI policy, as they tend not to have the technological know-how or the infrastructure to do meaningful work.

So if by "leaders in AI" libraries means, as it often does with library technology, "reacting to and sometimes acting as sales agents for" vendor hosted products....yeah.

So maybe we should pass laws that punish the giant corporations for their abusive business practices instead of laws that won’t help kids and will force ICE watch activists to upload their government ID to platforms that will hand them over to Trump in a heartbeat
