Started a new self portrait this afternoon. The canvas had the remnants of a painting I wiped off last week and I kind of like that shadow underneath.

Planning to sculpt Abe out of a big chunk of oak this spring/summer. As soon as the barn and frozen shoulder thaws a bit. Meanwhile these studies help keep me focused on how strong and good humans are capable of being.
