It's dumb as shit.
You can, legally, make (mostly) whatever mods you want. I don't have to host them no matter how relatively popular my mod hosting website is.

Oh good it overlapped with the ever present "mod censorship" drama. Of course it did.
Yeah because if we "too soon" about it, by the time it's no longer "too soon", another Dem will have died in office.
It's sad for the congressman's friends and family that they lost someone, but, nonetheless, the ongoing pattern of Dems dying in office is harming us.
Their arguments about what is/isn't woke are always exclusive to the piece of media they have in mind that moment, and whether or not it's generally successful.
BG3 did just about everything they hate, but they excuse it because "you can make choices" lmao
Yeah a few have gotten mad to find out that the VA is a black woman. Saying Diana got "netflixed".
They passed around a tweet with like 6 likes sometime in 2015 saying "white people shouldn't have kids" (or similar) and convinced each other this was representative of the entire left, especially the SJWs trying to ruin their games.
They're dumb.
Geoff Keighley sitting and facing the camera. To his left is a Halo 4 poster sponsored by Mtn Dew and Doritos, to his right is a table with several bottles of red Mtn Dew and a bag of Doritos.
This image evolved into Geoff Keighley being called "Dorito Pope", but imo it does demonstrate the blurred line between "Journalist" and "Spokesperson" that was the norm around the time it happened (2012).
They explicitly do. Pretty much every description of men they offer is that we experience life as a nonstop series of combats. Hell I think an early example of it was good ol Jordan Peterson (pre induced coma I think) saying there's a violent tension between a man and his father lmao
It really hit the worst part of the internet like a fucking asteroid and we're all dealing with the splash damage.
It's at least funny watching them scramble to figure out if they should claim it or be mad about it.
And specifically miserable about video games, which are better, more popular, and more numerous than ever.
Their new thing is basically outrage gambling. If they think a game is gonna flop, they "prove" it's woke, and vice versa.
When they're wrong, they just pivot and gaslight. When they're wildly wrong (e.g. Baldurs Gate 3), you can get them to make some really funny assertions.
I mean apparently one offshoot sub did get banned but yeah reddit admins famously only give a shit when reddit gets on the news for this kinda shit
Nah they're just posting openly on the game's subreddits now
That's not even getting into the queer characters.
McGinnis alone should've sent them into a frenzy if precedent meant anything with them. A big, bi/lesbian lady who's also canonically probably the smartest character.
They hounded other games for less but they won't touch it because Valve lol
Selective as ever.
If you want another funny example of them being selective, check out the cast of Deadlock, Valve's "secret" hero shooter/moba. Cool, magic spy character? Black lady with afro puffs. Super hot white dock worker guy? His in-game bio is literally just "Jacob Lash is an asshole".
It says a lot that when given the choice between "move on these couple issues and I'll vote for you" and "I would literally never vote for you and have called you literal demons more than once on TV" they opt to court the latter group.
Yeah he repeatedly expressed that he intentionally had Milo, who previously expressed disdain towards gamers, start bringing them more properly into the fold.
Also, it's plain to me how foundational GamerGate style propaganda is to MAGA. See: Libs of TikTok.
"ethics in gaming journalism" became not about things like Dorito Pope and gifts to reviewers, but instead about a lady making YouTube videos and an indie dev that maybe (but probably didn't) trade sex for a mention in a listicle.
I'm well aware we're up against the oligarchy. That's a cornerstone of my frustration with Dems. 2024 was an opportunity for Kamala to say it plain: oligarchs are squeezing America dry. She didn't.
I didn't find it insulting but you've still hurled insults. Please don't make me explain basic English to you lmao
Yes, he was and is unpopular. And yet Dems consistently fail to overcome him because their messaging is shit.
Trump threatened genocide. He's a fascist doing fascist things.
I voted for Kamala, actually. I'm just being realistic about how and why she lost. She shot herself in the foot wrt Gaza, and basically shot her other leg clean off wrt to the economy.
I singled her out because she lost a crucial election against an unpopular opponent, and my assessment is that a big part of her loss was that her vibe was responding to people saying "the rent is too damn high" with variations of "the economy is good, actually".
I'm well aware the president doesn't just have a giant, cartoon dial in the oval office labeled "the economy".
Nonetheless, politicians have to win elections, which is usually best done, especially for prominent positions, by being aware of and promising to address tangible, widespread concerns.
Lol more insults
What refutations have you posted? You've just called me dumb and then posted some variations of "nuh uh"
Big time feeling like this was the actual source of yesterday's airport discourse.
Two of the site's specialest boys wanting to feel validated for losing hundreds of dollars to just choosing to be late to their flights.
So do you have an actual argument, or just snarky dismissal?
Y'all are weird
I'm far more pissed off that, for like 20 years, Dems have gone "The GOP isn't following the rules (norms, not rules)!" and proceeded to
* Do fuckall to punish the violation of the "rules" (norms, not rules).
* Continue to follow the "rules" (norms, not rules) themselves, hamstringing themselves.
