I’ve only ever had a few sightings but a couple of times they were weirdly out in the open. Unpredictable!

Right? One bittern is a LOT
They are such cool birds
I can’t even imagine meeting more than one at a time
It’s a teachable moment 😁
Wow! They did so well after all the tragedy. Hooray!
The issue with image uploads is a great test of everyone’s ALT text! #accessibility
You will have to paint a picture of your tomato plants with words because I cannot see them
Thanks. It was so nice to see big flocks of robins on the weekend
For now, lol
That’s great. Glad you enjoyed your visit
At least not until Thursday LOL
Thanks, friend!
Yes indeed. It was super-smooth
It is :-)

#GoodMorningFromSaskatoon where I’m seeing the first mirror view since last year 😊
A red-breasted thrush with grey-brown head, yellow beak and broken white eye ring is perched in an otherwise bare tree with fuzzy silver buds emerging. Background is bright blue cloudless sky.
Snow is mostly melted (again) and a few fuzzy buds are busting out. A perfect setting for an American Robin! #birds 🌿
They’re such adorable little guys. Would love to see one
Amazing! Congrats!
Oh no
Excellent yellow-rumped warbler
Woohoo! My very best wishes for a long and happy life together
I don’t see them very often so they’re a treat. Thanks for looking after the strandling
Yes! I was thinking today might be the day but not quite
They’re a rare treat for me. Not worried

The Trumpeter Swans are flocking to the Yukon, but because of the late spring there isn't a lot of open water for them yet... hopefully that will change quickly over the next week or so! This one was one of a group of 3 at a tiny lead along the Yukon River in downtown Whitehorse. #birds
Beautiful! Hope they get some more open water soon. Our prairie potholes are all still pretty icy but at least the river is open for landing
