Yeah that makes total sense. Everybody has now been PR-swaddled at such a young age and funny enough I think social media/growing up on the internet in general has cut down on personalities being outgoing. Then you see guys with personalities and it’s almost alien

It’s just wave after wave of propaganda seemingly in the hopes that they’ll become friends with the people they cover.

The current NBA media is so full of people sucking up to players and actively running PR for teams they cover that I would immediately push back on this. Although, maybe it then turns into doing what Chad is saying by denigrating those stars not on the team said media member is covering.
