Free speech is a dog whistle at this point. It's only meant for white men. It's not meant for the rest of us. We cannot speak up for injustice or try to improve our circumstances if it hurts the white man's sensitive feelings.
I feel like the psychological safety of marginalized ppl in the workplace has gone down the tube. We have to make room for right wing ideologies that promote our displacement and death in the name of "free speech", but are persecuted and fired for speaking up about atrocities.
