Reagan was Trump with the smiley face . He was the amiable dunce as opposed to Trump’s malevolent dunce.

This is correct.

Frankly, this statement merits a high position on the Death of Expertise Index

No. Dumb is saying Trump is too liberal to be President. A close second is saying “….Hillary Clinton is one of the worst human beings in American politics.”

Well, make sure your chosen candidate is acceptable to MAGA because you’re willing to trade competency for someone else’s version of morality

The reality is many Democrats suffer from Stockholm Syndrome. They believe their candidates must be acceptable to their opponents.

It’s nonsense.

So?
Were long past the ‘wink and nod’ era where we can pretend Lindsey Graham isn’t gay

I’m a fan of his but he wasn’t a generational talent. A generational talent never loses a debate to a Mitt Romney and walks Mitch McConnell like a dog several times a day.

The US already did elect a gay Prez. At least one.
And several gays have run for the office.

It’s always a wonder the dumb shit that falls out of Khanna’s open mouth.

Thanks for the gift article.

There’s some questionable thinking in the piece. Why believe Rubio has any influence in this administration? First, Rubio has always been an empty suit. His entire portfolio seems to be centered on banging the drum on Cuba. Second, Rubio has ceded SoS duties to Kushner

Buckley and the Birchers were always on the same team.

What makes you wonder is Goldman employs people who have extensive backgrounds in both the military, commercial shipping, the oil industry and logistics.

The problems go back even further. As in previous CVNs. It’s a design issue that’s existed going back 2 decades.
Add in the fact it’s impossible to make something ‘’sailor-proof.”

I think the distinction is fairly clear. The Iranian naval ship was a legitimate target in that it was a warship and was returning to engage in hostilities.
To claim it was “fun” is abhorrent and disgraceful.
