I was shocked to see the Tigers as 3.5pt underdogs today. I thought Memphis would be a TD+ favorite. Definitely feel like it’s a game they should win & easy travel for Tiger fans but Wed night a week b4 Xmas & a bad bowl payout. Definitely was hoping for better.

WNBA Schedule just dropped…I usually go to DAL every year for Liberty/Wings but planned on switching it up & going to ATL for Liberty/Dream this year. Guess I’ll stretch it out & catch my sorry ass #WhiteSox 8/20 against the Braves & Liberty/Dream 8/23.

I would say over the 6 remaining non-con games they have 5-1 with the one loss coming in the Q1 games would be the ideal realistic goal.

Tigers still have what would currently be two Q1 opportunities (@ Clemson, Miss St.) & two Q2s (Ole Miss, @ Virginia) remaining in the non-con. With the way the AAC is shaping up these games are even more important this year than they’ve been in the past.

Both Memphis games this week (LA Tech/Ark St.) will be Q3 games. You were hoping they’d end up Q2 but LA Tech took a bad loss to Southern & Ark St. lost a couple of games they were favored in over the weekend.

What better time than any for Bane to fully come out of his slump but a trip to Dallas. We know the vendetta he has against them for passing him up in the draft. He usually plays well there.

They even got down in OT & STILL continued to battle & knock down big shots! Shoutout to PJ Carter… 9pts all in OT. Big 3ptr & 6-6 from the line. It takes a tremendous amount of mental toughness & fortitude to do what they just did. Hope they aren’t outta gas for tomorrow!

UAB was picked to win the American and they are now 3-3 w/ losses to Vermont, High Point & Longwood. 😏

If they can find a way to come out of Maui with two wins I think you feel really good coming back to the 901 as in doing so you’ve likely knocked off a top 10 team & would be in position to be ranked yourself at that point.

If Memphis were to lose to UCONN they’d likely get Colorado on Tue who was picked to finish 15th in the Big 12. If you win that game there is a good chance that you get a shot at another top 10 ranked team in the 3rd game on Wed. Potentially Iowa St. or Auburn.

Huge win last night for the Tigers! Like I said previously you feel really good going into Maui 4-0. Not that I’m conceding an L to UCONN already there certainly any shame if that ends up being the case but it feels much better going into that game off a W. 🏠 💰 IMO. Just go take your shot!

Big game tonight for the Tigers. A chance to put a 4th solid win in your back pocket going into Maui. You feel really good heading to the islands at 4-0. The goal is obviously to win the whole thing but if you somehow come out 2-1 I think you’d definitely take that.

Nah, just reading the tea leaves & projecting forward. If it stays on this sane trajectory I could definitely see it happening. There is a definite disconnect compared to years past. Maybe they get on a run & it changes around but I don’t like the vibe right now.

but if something doesn’t change I could definitely see that being a possibility. It’s just no longer the same as it was in many aspects & I don’t know if it can be recaptured.
