Thanks for posting! I received an email on my author's website, with supposed links to your books. Unlikely an author would email another out of the blue to exchange links. Suspicious, I investigated, found your warnings! Good news is your books sounds interesting! I may have to check them out!

I usually find that whatever way they're cooked, there's very little flavor other than what's on it or in it. Good, but unmemorable! I may have to try again!

How about "Americans" since we should be pro-Canada. To think otherwise is... well, never mind. How about Canericans?

While watching the Oscars the other night, this was what was outside my window while Ariana Grande was singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow. The sound of the wind chimes are mine. The voice is Ariana's. Sound on for this one.

(Very short as it is the tail end of the song.)

Letter from Charles M Schulz to a young Joel Lipton in 1970: “Dear Joel, I think it is more difficult these days to define what makes a good citizen then it has ever been before. Certainly all any of us can do is follow our own conscience and retain faith in our democracy. Sometimes it is the very people who cry out the loudest in favor of getting back to what they call ‘American Virtues’ who lack this faith in our country. I believe that our greatest strength lies always in the protection of our smallest minorities. Sincerely yours, Charles M. Schulz.”

Author Gary Indiana’s library came to Altadena. Hours later, it burned in the Eaton Fire The late writer and critic’s archive – which is held by New York University – was not affected.

My friend @erikpedersen.bsky.social shared this sad story today. Author Gary Indiana's massive book collection burning...only hours after it arrived in Altadena as part of a planned residency & foundation.

New Short Story: Mr. Endicott No one during his lifetime thought Mr. Endicott depraved. Peculiar, yes. But in a city of seven million, there are more than a few peculiar men.

A new short story:

Meet Reynolds Endicott, a mysterious, charismatic figure who may have been a mass murderer in the mid-20th century, and his unnamed 83-year-old biographer who is unsure of how to tell Mr. Endicott's story.

No slugs here! (It's supposed to be a pan of beer set at ground level. Slugs and snails are attracted to it and drown.) Not sure pouring alcohol on plant roots is all that healthy?)

Sadly, they don't work anymore. Tried all those tricks. The weather is no longer conducive to rely on companion planting.

It was a horrible year, here, too! Mine were all attacked by mite population which exploded due to the heat. I just couldn't keep up, since I don't like to use pesticides. So frustrating!
