While "filling your cup first" seems like practical advice within the dream of limitation, the Course invites you to wake up to the deeper reality: Your cup is eternally full because you are the love that fills it! Full episode out now #ACIM #TrueSelfCare #Abundance
Today it's all about Lesson 172, where we discuss the concepts and get into practical advice, such as helping teens navigate hurt without resorting to anger or victimhood.

Today we review "In my defenselessness, my safety lies," explaining that true safety comes from recognizing our invulnerability as love. Also, "I am Among the Ministers of God," regarding our purpose of channeling love. As usual we talk about applying these concepts daily.

Look at white leadership now. Puppets and clowns.
AOC: I don’t care what Elon Musk is doing behind the presidential seal, but in this country we hate Nazis. Kind of like a foundational defining thing. Two of the foundational things about American history is that we beat the confederates and we beat the Nazis.
I don’t expect to become rich or famous from anything I create, but to hear my music played in a cafe was so amazing.
Started sewing again! First project: pencil skirt for a friend.

I’m going to get sad when I run out of coffee beans. Until I’m gainfully employed, my roasting days will be on hold. This is the last of my Vietnamese Robusta.
Been using Gemini so much I docked it on my iPhone. It’s better than Alexa but still needs work. Sometimes instead of simply answering a question it’ll say how to get the answer. Other times, it’ll speculate on the answer and confess to not knowing only if I inquire. I like the natural voice.

I made tomato soup! After a final run through a sieve I have what amounts to seasoned tomato paste left over, which I don’t want to waste. I could freeze it, but one idea I read is to dehydrate and powder it. Is powdered tomato seasoning a thing? I’ve never seen any at the store. #cooking

Almost completed Moka Pot brew
My wife laughingly calls my coffee brewing “science experiments” because I so meticulously grind, measure, and brew my home roasts for my daily coffee: Aeropress, v60, French Press, or Moka Pot. I’m just not a Mr. Coffee type of brewer. 🤷🏾♀️😂
I wasn’t ready. But I love it.
Fall is here in Las Vegas. The trees always change before I’ve realized it- like overnight, almost! Mornings in the 40s, afternoons in the 60s. After brutal 120° summer, I’m in heaven.
Photograph of a mason jar, half full of freshly roasted coffee beans
I started with a cast iron frying pan just to make sure I liked roasting my own coffee beans before making a tremendous outlay of $$. After awhile, I realized I really, really love the combo of art & science of roasting. I moved to a hand-held ceramic roaster, and now I have the SR800. So happy!
Ok that first one, yes. The rest? Too funny. 😆😆
