Hey everyone! Me and a couple of other gals that frequented Monday Night Ride are starting up our own riding club this year! We had our first official ride two weeks ago and our next one is this thursday. WTNB centered, all welcome. We'll be meeting up weekly come may with more details to come.
Exactly my thoughts recently. If people wont change their ways that are clearly disastrous, let them feel the pain of their ways because unfortunately in this captitalist hell hole, its the only way they understand.
Hate that this is something we needed. Cars are perhaps the worst product in the world in terms of externalities, and the only economic solution is to price in the damage they do in the cost of owning/operating. It's gonna hurt people a lot, but it's gonna be the only thing that maybe changes stuff.
Cars are a huge liability for neighborhoods. One car breaks down and chaos is unleashed for miles. Insanity.

Logan Square has a new Divvy station location at Armitage/Drake! As you can see, it's not a brand new station. When we upgraded a busy Printer's Row station on Monday, we brought the older station to a new home here. We're filling a gap where cycling is booming - even in the winter.
