I would gladly spend the rest of my days making books, comics, games, and movies based on Treasure Planet and Golden Sun.

I'd say he's shown what conservative voters really are.
It was never about small government, or free trade, or self-determination.
It was always about the need to hurt others because that makes us feel better about ourselves.
"Trump's not conservative"
Oh no you don't. No no no no no.
I can tolerate Republicans moving on from Bush and the neocons, 9/11 and all that.
But you fucking own Trump from now until the end of time. He told you exactly who he was from day 1 and you voted for him 3 times. That's on YOU.
I'm in this builder!
All of Us Should Be Able To Agree With This…..
"Why don't Americans-" The ruling class of America has intentionally disempowered its citizens spread across 3,000+ miles of land and then funded the police force as an occupying army that happily murders anyone who opposes them and imprisons whoever is left as slave laborers. So phone calls it is
Not even 8 a.m., and a ton of new campaigns just dropped! Comics Kickstarter is alive and well!

It's a big problem with our electoral system. It does in fact go back to the founding father's favoritism towards "landowners," over others.
Just a reminder, land should not determine the value of a vote.
Which is entirely bullshit. All of this is just to say that you have to take a critical eye to opinion pieces and analyses. Honestly ask why this person holds this view.
Is it accurate?
Or an idyllic, Norman Rockwell view of the world, and what it should be?
Journalists perpetuate the idea of what real Americans are. And worse, they're dismissive of anyone who doesn't fit in to that.
This is dangerous because it reinforces the talking points of whats important.
Cities are problems to solve, not the heartbeat of the country.
A real man works a farm.
There is this myth amongst journalists of "the real american." They're always in diners, wearing a flannel shirt and brown leather coat.
Drinking a third cup of coffee and explaining how this just ain't the same America we grew up in.
There's a long, bad journalistic tradition: All conservative grass-roots political movements are fascinating heartland phenomena, all progressive grass-roots political movements are ineffectual bleating. This one is written off as powered by white female college grads--the wine-moms slur, basically.

The art is about a cozy, medieval tavern, its ageless female proprietor, and the magical drinks she concocts.

We hope you enjoy!
I will always have fond memories of the books, the movies, and even going to events for this once wonderful series.
But now? It is impossible for me to even look at the books without one involuntary shudder.
Harry Potter is impossible to employ the "separate art from artist" method of literary criticism, because of JKR. She has stated many times that she will use this money to pass anti Trans legislation, and fund studies dehumanizing and delegitimizing trans identity.
JKR has explicitly stated what the new show, and everything she's getting paid for is going towards: hurting kids for daring to discover their truths.
She wants a new show for the money, and to ensure that Daniel, Rupert, and Emma are no longer the representatives of her golden trio
I loved Harry Potter as a kid and through early adulthood.
It wasn't just love. Those books and series were some of the only fantasy books a nerd like me could read without comment, and the stories felt real.
Getting a whole generation to read fantasy? Unquestionably groundbreaking.
But...
We can only hope at this point. Too many people have proven that nothing is more important than having a president who trolls their perceived enemies.
The quest for the soul of a kingdom.

Watching the new adaptation of The Rainmaker, which is honestly my favorite #Grisham
Honestly, a lot has been changed, but it's fresh, updated for modernity, and I can't believe that Bruiser Stone is so gosh darn compelling.
2 episodes in, so far so great
Someone should talk to the inkwell awards about their logo
Completely agreed. I think the nostalgia is most likely for stories and lore that could be collected, rather than just lost into the internet ether.
Also, a lot of people having said nostalgia were boys at the height of its popularity. Can't discount that.
I'm very Christian, but i have to admit that Hitchens had some good points, and there are many good-faith (sorry, couldn't resist) arguments that demand inquiry into one's spiritual journey, wherever it goes.
Was forced to read Dawkins in a class on theology. Nobody understood why I had so many problems with it.
