Advice for anyone selling a 3DS. Make sure you wipe the data off the system and reformat the SD card. Getting unsolicited pictures of children is deeply uncomfortable. Luckily there was nothing inappropriate here, so I don't have to call the FBI over it.

I can't remember where I heard this, maybe from Technology Connections, but given how most people only use their microwave for a bit, the clock actually contributes more towards electricity usage than running it. I didn't double check, so grain of salt and all that.

I do enjoy what they offer, so I'm glad they don't promote hate. I guess they dragged their feet a bit to get to this point though. At least they got their in the end. So many others don't.

I've mostly quit social media, so I'm often out of the loop, but it seems like there was some drama in the Retro Achievement community that got to a point where their admins had to make a stance against hate speech.

I met my partner on a dating app, but neither of us were paying. Maybe there's a disproportionate amount of "gross and ugly" people who pay for these things out of a sense of desperation, and it links paid members more. That or it's just a scam.

People are mad? I genuinely love it! I'm guessing some of it is "Oh no, they're changing my beloved Rare 30 year old design, but nostalgia can't be an excuse to not accept just good design.

At the end of the day I don't care if someone did or did not buy the Switch 2 and why. What I find weird is people virtue signaling that they didn't. Calm down, you chose not to buy a toy, you didn't free and uplift the oppressed.

I got this set up for when the pain in my collarbone/shoulder stops hurting. The laptop was one I had for gaming from 6 or so years ago that I'd given to my partner, but she's been upgraded to my old PC tower. I don't believe in trashing perfectly usable tech, so this seemed like a good idea.

Diversity is beautiful, and to be blind to that is so sad.

When my partner said she wanted to get one I told her "only if you get the pizza box cover" as a joke and she did! The playdate is a lot of fun
