Je voulais mettre en lumière la trahison ressentie par l’enfant, dont la confiance est brisée par ses bourreaux, dans l’ombre et le silence. La lame symbolise la duplicité, la manipulation et le mensonge, cette barbarie étant réalisée sans consentement des jeunes filles.
Cette sculpture représente une pomme vulnérable, tranchée en son centre. Sur la face arrière, une lame de rasoir est dissimulée, reliée par une petite chaîne à la tige, pour évoquer le danger caché, la violence sourde/la douleur invisible subie par celles qui ont été mutilées, par l’excision.

Sur cette pièce, le paon est un symbole fort, dans la culture chinoise, il représente la fertilité+ la prospérité, le choix du bleu rappelle la couleur de la pilule du Viagra. La statue interroge notre capacité à bander, tout en mettant en lumière le lien intime entre état psychologique & érection.
