In this context we prepared a statement highlighting mines and explosive remnants of war climate change, and displacement in Sudan, showing how these challenges impact civilians and hinder humanitarian response and reconstruction efforts.

كما جاءت هذه المشاركة امتدادًا لمساهمة المبادرة في المشاورات التي أطلقها المركز مع المنظمات الشبابية في المنطقة العربية، بهدف تعزيز دور الشباب في تطوير برامج التثقيف في مجال حقوق الإنسان

وتأتي هذه المساهمة في سياق الجهود الدولية المتزايدة لفهم التحديات المرتبطة بالفضاء الرقمي، بما في ذلك ما يواجهه المدافعون عن حقوق الإنسان من مخاطر وانتهاكات رقمية

وقد شهدت الندوة مشاركة أكثر من 264 شابًا وشابة من مختلف الدول العربية. وخلال النقاشات، مثّلت المبادرة صوت المنظمات الشبابية، حيث قامت بعرض نتائج الاستبيان الذي عكس آراء وتحديات الشباب في المنطقة العربية فيما يتعلق بالحقوق الرقمية، مسلّطة الضوء على أولوياتهم واحتياجاتهم

شاركت مبادرة القانون الدولي الإنساني والشباب في الندوة الإقليمية عبر الإنترنت بعنوان
‏“الحقوق الرقمية وحقوق الإنسان في الفضاء الرقمي”، والتي عُقدت بتاريخ 31 مارس 2026، ونظمها مركز الأمم المتحدة للتدريب والتوثيق في مجال حقوق الإنسان لجنوب غرب آسيا

6- This contribution was submitted as part of OHCHR consultations and will be reflected in the study presented at the 63rd session of the Human Rights Council.

5- We organized a roundtable to discuss the role of youth in armed conflicts and how their voices can be represented on the international stage, within the framework of the Youth, Peace, and Security (#YPS) Agenda.

4- We stressed improving reporting rates, enhancing information-sharing, and integrating youth and gender perspectives.

3- Through #Youth4ATT, IHLYI emphasized that youth are key partners, and their participation must be meaningful and impactful.

2- We focused on maritime security as a key channel for arms transfers, including risks of diversion during transit, and the importance of integrating gender considerations into risk assessments.

1- We raised key questions on risk assessment in conflict areas, #accountability of private military companies, and preventing arms diversion.
