I had a work colleague from one of those regions. when his birthday came around, he brought along Mettigel instead of cake and wondered why nobody joined him for a slice.

Fairies on film: a review of ‘Rabbit Trap’ Bryn Chainey’s Rabbit Trap (2025), which has been classified as a psychological horror film (but is in truth just a weird film) is that rare thing: a serious film about fairies. Set in Wales (altho…

The first panel shows a crow with the title "How to live a good life". The second panel shows a crow cawing at itself in the mirror with the subheading "Make friends". The next panel says "Explore" and shows a crow looking into a commercial waste bin. The next says "Try new things" with a crow eating something vile. The next one says "Be curious" and shows the crow grabbing a hissing cat's tail". The final frame says "Get a hobby" and shows the crow looking closely at a book of matches.

also, cliques can fuck themselves. closed doors usually lead to echo chambers, undeserved self congratulation, and eventually toxic behaviour.

get outside your little circle jerk sometime, the fresh air will do you some good.

another day, another reminder that just because someone broadly aligns with some or all of your values, doesn't mean they aren't awful people. you probably already know some or listen to their music.

arseholes are arseholes.

Instant block. I do not want your theft-based, planet-killer writing hollowed of lived experience. Fuck off and keep on fucking off till the waves swallow you. AI always means Arseholes Involved. You will find nothing but derision and harsh curses for it in Hookland.

A long time in the works, a split between myself as Greenhollow and Fourthpeak, whom you may know as Gray Friar, Magic Hilt, Forgotten Relic, etc.

Very proud of these works and humbled to share space on this release with a friend.

love the future where there's a cool ass moon mission and you see a cool ass picture of the moon and have to go comb through a few different nasa sites and their flickr to make sure it's a real image.. you have to act like a conspiracy theorist before believing/enjoying anything

It's worth remembering that not everyone who shares your values and ethics is a good person.

Arseholes are everywhere.

thank you, it's been bothering me a lot longer than is necessary. I also prefer "por-sha" but my brain started playing tricks on me.

also, I am delighted by your punchy new book. almost to the end and have no idea where it's going to end up. thank you for it.

ultimately, it's open to interpretation. as instrumental music, I hope the narrative thread allows room.dor folks to hang their own meaning over the framework.

But I do hope that the music lends itself to a certain aesthetic, and that it fits somewhere within folk horror.

The third, Life And Death And All That Lays In Between, is an album length meditation on where such a community goes next. Toward darkness, does it close upon itself, does it find meaning in suffering, does it attempt to move towards the light?

Much more discord and stress, musically.
