Today is #WorldHealthDay! At Red Balloon, we know that all aspects of health are important, but we put a special focus on mental health.

Mental health and emotional wellbeing are essential to being a happy and healthy individual. They form the foundations to enable us to thrive and to succeed!

Throughout their time with us, young people are able to have counselling or therapy as part of their timetable. Counselling and therapy can help young people with the problems they have been facing.

#NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes about neurological differences. It aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and recognise the many skills of neurodivergent people.

In Creative Arts, learners at Aylesbury have been creating their own theatre set designs. They have painted shoe boxes and designed their sets using LEGO and imagination. Learners enjoyed learning about theatre whilst participating in these hands-on sessions.

Leaners at Red Balloon Aylesbury have been having fun with science! They learned about the separation techniques of sieving, filtering, dissolving and evaporating to separate stones, pebbles, sand and salt. They enjoyed using the Bunsen burners evaporate the water to leave pure salt.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellbeing Therapist to join our team and deliver support to learners aged 11–16. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about empowering young people.
