Been watching it mostly 1 episode a week day evening while having supper... No the gore never put me off... Much.
I enjoyed the show. And Hodgins is easily my favourite character.
The show ended well. On a high and nicely wrapped up.

I genuinely loved Ake, and Sandro Rostas Caleb... Given that was his first role he did a really good job. He has a promising career ahead of him I think.
As a life long Trekkie, that makes me sad. And I feel for all those who have worked so hard on this show. And also for the incredibly talented young actors. I hope they find new work soon.
At least for now, and until the right wing in America is removed, and the leaders at paramount/skydance are swapped out.

Trek as a show Stands for everything that MAGA is not. So I think its going to come to an end. For a while...
If I'm to be brutally honest, I think Trek is going to go away for a while. Not only in TV but Films as well. In this current climate of ultra right wing politics taking over America.
They MIGHT complete what was already green lit for contractual reasons, but as a franchise I think its ending. 4/
Had a lot of very overtly progressive themes. And lets face it. Skydance and its owners are not progressive people. They are Trump and MAGA doners... I think that should make why this happened now so very clear. So no I'm not surprised it got the chop.

Not entirely, but I am surprised it was cancelled this soon without having a real chance to get off the ground.

I'm not happy about it. While I have been vocal about the show not really being for me. I had enjoyed some of the episodes, and I could see the fledglings of a good series if it tried to stay clear of teen drama tropes.

I'm 43 I lost my mum 10 years ago and dad 3 years ago... I don't think I'll ever truly be over that pain. I learn to cope and live with it but it never goes away.
