Bob’s still really doing his best to avoid Felicia’s gaze since now he’s just feeling guilty for making Felicia suddenly worry when she has other priorities than having to worry about his well-being.

“I-I know but it’s just hard. T-the whole void thing doesn’t really help. H-he never helps.”

Bob‘s going to jump when he hears Beck call his name and is now shaking her head to what she’s saying. He’s really just having a moment but doesn’t want the others to worry.

“I erm no I erm I’m fine. I was just erm admiring the shoe rack.” He began whilst gesturing to the shoe rack close by.

Bob’s going to keep his gaze away from Felicia, that same guilt and self doubt rising but is muttering something to himself again almost like he’s scolding himself for apologising.

“I- I erm. M-my mom used to tell me it was my fault for making things worse. I-I don’t know but I think she’s right.”

Bob’s nodding his head softly to Beck’s words with him now heading to his room so that he can change. He’s also taking his time since he doesn’t want to come across as too eager either.

Bob does come back after about ten minutes and nervously waits for Beck to come back with Elias.

Bob’s nodding his head slightly to Felicia’s words about how he apologies for everything but there is that small nagging voice inside of his head, probably the void that doesn’t help.

Bob’s going back to avoiding her gaze again and mumbles to himself about how he always makes things worse.

Bob‘s nodding his head to the idea of going on a walk with Elias since he really does need a little bit of a break from the watchtower for a while especially with the void being more awake than usual.

“I-I yeah that be nice. S-sorry about that I erm I don’t try to listen to him but it’s hard.”

Bob’s nodding his head slightly but is still feeling rather embarrassed for freaking out. He’s managed to keep his eyes on Felicia for a second before drifting his gaze away.

“I-I guess. I-I just didn’t hear you right. I-I erm yeah.” Bob’s still messing nervously with the sheets again.

Bob’s going to nod his head again but there still that little part of him that’s truly terrified of becoming exactly like his parents. It also doesn’t help the void whispering things in the back of his mind.

“Yeah- yeah I’ll try just wish the void would shut up for a minute that’s all…”

Bob’s cheeks are going to flush a bright shade of red when he finally realises that Felicia is indeed not in labour and was just telling him there is a possibility of it happening.

“O-oh. I erm. Sorry…” Bob’s going to glance down now so that he can avoid Felicia’s gaze since he’s embarrassed.

Bob’s going to nod his head softly to Beck’s question since for the first time in his life he does actually feel alright in terms of his emotions so is giving Beck’s hand a squeeze to confirm.

“Yeah. Yeah I think I will be okay. It just feels weird. Knowing I’m gonna be a dad but a good weird!”

“W-wait today!? A-are you sure!? I-is the hospital bag packed!? I should go and pack it and make sure that we have everything! A-and I should make sure we have erm what else do we need?”

Bob is clearly panicking now and is carefully sitting Felicia down so he can check the hospital bag is ready.

“I keep wondering what my daughter’s going to look like. I-I mean I’ll be happy if she looks like her mother but I erm. I don’t wanna sound like I’m expecting her to look like me you know?”

Bob’s going to shrug his shoulder’s nervously and soon casts his glance back down to his lap once again.

“Do you think she’s excited because she’s due to arrive any day now? To be fair I think I would be pretty excited if I learned I didn’t need to stay cooped up in the womb anymore.”

Bob’s hand is going to carefully start rubbing one spot on Felicia’s bump where Mila seems to be kicking the most.

Bob’s thinking for a second on whenever it’s something he really wants but also knows that nobody from the team will raise a hand to him for even telling Beck about it.

“I’ll be okay. I think Ava will find it rather amusing that I kinda used it against her. She always says to grow a spine.”

“I-I could show you but I’m not allowed to go Sentry in case the other guy shows up. The others said I’m not allowed. Not after last time anyway”

Bob’s going to return the kiss before his hand is going back to gently rubbing Felicia’s bump softly to keep their little girl calm. “She kicking again”

“Yeah well Ava once also denied she cried during our annual movie night. Yelena kept teasing her for a week after that. But Ava is really happy with you.”

Bob’s going to smile over at Beck now as his attention is on the cartoon they are watching. “Where is Elias anyways?”

Bob’s going to let out a faint chuckle now as he’s leaning into Felicia’s touch slightly before finally letting out a little bit of a sigh that is mostly happy.

“You know that when I’m sentry I go blonde. T-the others didn’t really like the blonde hair to be honest with you.”

“Ava’s kind of grumpy sometimes but I think she kinda likes that you enjoy reading books. I-i mean she would complain about them but you know it was Ava that asked everyone to help with your Christmas gift right?”

Bob‘s going to look at Beck now with a smile beginning to form on his features.

Bob’s going to lean into Felicia’s touch as he’s soon moving to sit down on the bed and carefully pulls her onto his lap whilst wrapping his arms around her waist.

“I really wanna try the whole beard look. I mean most Dads have one and it’s silly but it would make me feel like a Dad too.”

“That’s true. I mean you probably also find reading a book a relaxing evening too. Is it bad I have been watching more cartoons recently to prepare for my daughter?”

Bob’s going to look at the tv for a second then back to Beck with a grin on his face from the smallest mention of his little girl.

Bob’s going to still keep rubbing his hand gently against Felicia’s bump as he can tell it’s really helping with keeping their daughter calm as he glances up to look at her.

“I mean most dads have a beard right? I can give it a go. Kinda always wanted to see what I would look with one.”

Bob’s going to nod his head softly with him now putting on Tom and Jerry before sitting back a little bit hesitantly in his chair. However, he does soon ease up with him glancing over to Beck again.

“Are you okay with Tom and Jerry? I-I think you might like this. If not we can pick something else”

Bob’s going to give Felicia a smile, his hand still gently rubbing her bump to keep their little girl calm as he’s returning the kiss and then presses a kiss to her bump.

“I think she can recognise my voice. Also why did you leave a post it note saying to grow a beard?”

Bob’s eyes are going to lighten up almost immediately when Beck says that she will happily sit and watch cartoons with him as his hand gently holds the remote.

“We can do that. D-do you have a favourite cartoon? I-I would like to watch your favourite Beck.”

Bob’s immediately pulling his hand back when he heard the way that Felicia is hissing slightly but finds himself to take a deep breath and places his hand against her bump.

“Hey don’t do that. You can kick but erm can you do it gently so you don’t hurt your mom? I-I think she like that.”

“Oh erm well I kinda really like watching kids cartoons. T-they kinda help with the erm stuff in my head. But we don’t have to watch them. Y-you can pick.”

Bob’s going to duck his head down ever so slightly as he’s now going to start making the cookies to distract himself.

Bob’s hand is going to rest gently against Felicia’s bump, feeling their daughter kick slightly underneath his touch before his attention is back on Felicia.

“I don’t want to change this. I-I guess I’m just worried that I end up too much like my own dad with her. I-I don’t want that.”

Bob is going to turn a little shade of red, almost bashful even since he’s still not used to the whole idea of being praised especially since he never got any of that from his parents.

“I’m glad that the book and tea is perfect. D-do you need anything else? Or do you want me to go make cookies?”

Bob’s head is going to snap up almost immediately when he hears Felicia’s words with his hand still resting against her bump. His thumb is carefully stroking it but his eyes have softened now.

“C-children? You want more than one child with me? I-I never really thought I have kids you know..”

Bob’s going to shake his head now to what Beck is asking since he just wants her to relax for the time being. He’s going to carefully place a cup of tea in her hands as well as a book she’s been wanting to read.

“N-no it’s okay I want you to relax whilst I make the cookies. I-I found that book.”
