I really liked it. But I have a soft spot for weird and sometimes ambiguous media-motivated mysteries. Bang on I Saw The TV Glow as a companion watch.

I have a monster playlist companion for my book. 14 inspired the stories and the rest I rocked out to when I was cool (circa 1999-2014) and wrote to for the millennial indie sleaze vibes.

Woke up at 1am with such a strong feeling that turned into an idea for a WIP. Stumbled to my computer and it all disappeared. 3.5 hours later I’m staring at a screen trying to travel back in time.

I survived the semester. I’ve hardly written a word in 3 weeks but gonna pour myself into my WIPs over winter break before next semester eats me alive.

Teaching allows me a little financial support to write but the balance is brutal sometimes.

How do other folk manage?
