As an Indian, as someone who lived in Egypt, and who has, modestly, remained committed to my politics despite that, here are my rules for living under fascist regimes:
1) Focus on organizational structure. 1/
Will someone please just tell him that we don't need to buy any countries right now? We have country at home.

There are things that get into my head and won't leave me until I write them down. Like Jay and Silent Bob going Christmas caroling.
"Figgy pudding, little man. Put that s$@& in my hand."
Not a lot of time for mini painting right now, as I prep for the Moribund Christmas show. But I did get to get back to the basic element(al)s for a bit.
A Healthcare CEO was murdered today. People are responding by comparing the reward for the murderer to their much larger healthcare expenses.
If this seems cruel, you're ignoring that it is in response to a much, much more cruel system.
The Young Ones minis were a gift from a friend, "Horrid Housemates" by Crooked Dice. I've had them for a couple years, finally primed them. The "telephone box" is from Reaper, just got it the other day. Now I'm imagining a crossover that never was...
I love the word feckless. Lacking in feck. In need of feck. A deficit of feck.
The opposite, feckfull, is a Scottish word but isn't used in English, and I think it should be. Full of feck. So much feck. An abundance of feck, a surfeit of feck. Feck for days.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but I'm up for anything that distracts me from reality right now.
Someone called this mass exodus from Twitter ‘the fall of the Broman Empire’ and I died laughing. 💀
I now have a mini Grunkle Stan. I'm keeping him on my shelf of Lovecraftian horrors so he can charge my other minis to look at 'em. "Wait 'till you get a load of the FISH PEOPLE! Five bucks, please."
Add to wishlist: The history of D&D book that pissed Elon off.
RIP Alice Brock. Remember Alice? It's a song about Alice. Alice was the real-world Alice of Alice's Restaurant, which wasn't the name of the restaurant, it was just the name of the song, which is why the song is called Alice's Restaurant.
Imagine having #Cthulhu for your dad. He would be like "have fun tonight, drink responsibly, be home before the stars are wrong."
Today is International Men's Day, alternatively titled "If women get an International Day, why don't men get one too?" Day.
It's today. You're here. You made it.
Today's a good day to think about how we can do better. But I know better than to think that many of us will.

You had me at "tiny spiders!"
...Hot Wheels conversions for Gaslands, which is very fun.
So, if you do this too and regularly share your minis and tips and advice, let me know, and I'll follow you.
I saved these pics for last - it's a mini of me, as Mr. Moribund, from my friend Ed! (end)
And I prime with basic craft paint, starting with black and building up grays. I'm pretty happy with the results I'm getting, but I'm always open to new ideas and methods.
I do some terrain work too, but I don't have many pictures handy right now. And I've also done a few...
Most of the minis I have now are from the original Reaper Bones Kickstarter. I lost most of my gaming stuff in a house fire in 2012, including a bunch of vintage minis, but I do have very few that survived. I use Army Painter Speedpaints and the core colors from Reaper that came with my KS (more)
...my eyes aren't what they used to be, so that detail work can be tough. It makes me happy. I like monsters. And, when I feel like life is going out of control, I can do something like this, and it will quiet that part of my brain down, at least for a little while. (more)
...which then scratched my corneas after I took the lenses out. So painting minis almost blinded me once, which I think is pretty hardcore.
These days, I paint them because it helps a lot with my anxiety. I've been using contrast paint to get effects that I'm happy with, and because...
Around '84 I think it was, I got my first contacts, and one night after painting, I took them out and my eyes started itching badly. Went to the doc who looked at my contacts and my eyes - I'd gotten tiny paint spots on the lenses, which irritated my eyelids...
One of the things I do is paint minis. I've done this for ages, since not long after I started playing D&D in 1982. Bought a Grenadier set with pots of bad paint-by-number paint and an awful brush. They were terrible. Wish I still had them. (more in thread)
