To ensure strict privacy and controlled hosting, all inference and data handling run on the KIARA LLM cluster and local GPU workstations. (3/4)
Visitors walk around the exhibition space with Scaddy running on a tablet and can talk to it, show images or teach Scaddy new things through add‑knowledge mode. It is designed to be intuitive for all ages and allows exploration of demonstrators in an accessible way. (2/4)
Hello to Scaddy, a #multimodal conversational AI guide for the Living Lab Leipzig! (1/4)
The team processed 775 handwritten Wikipedia transcripts using data science methods. Each transcript is half a DIN A4 page in length, consisting of approximately 15 lines and 220 words. A total of 775 writers from German-speaking regions were responsible for the generation of the Wikipedia excerpts.

@patebel.bsky.social, Michal Patryk Miazga and Hannah Bussmann and their colleague @oulasvirta.bsky.social developed Log2Motion, an AI model that translates smartphone usage data into simulated human motion, thereby assisting designers in the creation of user-friendly interfaces.
Tired of swiping? An AI simulation helps us understand why
Researchers from ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig and @aalto.fi developed a novel AI model that facilitates the simulation of muscle activations, used energy and effort to work out how physically effortful smartphone interactions are for users.

Spring is here, and the plants in the ScaDS.AI offices are getting bigger and greener. We think our 1.70-meter-tall Monstera in the communications office is the largest plant at ScaDS.AI Leipzig. Or are there even bigger plants here?
In Leipzig, we showcase the work of female data science and AI scientists. The girls learn how algorithms and machine learning work, write code, and apply their skills to analyze climate data. We talk about our researchers' career paths and how to get started!
