TLDR; i can write shit code myself, i dont need to spend 20$ a month for that

never the less. there is something its good at: finding stuff, like "where is... the code for the jump" etc. or simple things like "make that headline bigger" or "add a log when i hit a wall" things where it does not need to understand any concepts or can fuck up performance. 1 line changes...

when people say its like a junior dev for free, they should be ashamed. Thats a degradation all junior developers out there which are miles better then this token based word prediction algorithm.. its not even ai! (yells at cloud)

example: i tried to let it generate a mesh based on some points. was good, noticed the editor performance got worse. looked at the code: it created a json file on every change writing vert data or something into it, loaded it every frame back in and created the mesh from it... GREAT!

it has pretty much the same flaws as ai image generation. at first sight it looks nice, but if you look closer you see that 1 finger is missing and if you wanna correct that, it adds 6 sausages on that hand, telling you this is what you asked for. And it really drags down your mood

experimented with ai coding the last week and i think i've seen enough to say: its not worth it

yeah - i designed the original one you saw on my accounts before. And so i had all the publisher contacts since there was quite some interest in it all the time. After that they did there own thing with it. so i get a share of their share in the end. thats what i can say :D
