Wanted to try my hand at drawing flowers. Decided on irises and lotuses that represent wisdom in addition to overcoming hardships and perseverance. Also wanted to try doing a bit of hatching on the outfit which turned out a bit better than I thought.

Thank you so much! ☺️✨ I like adding some shading with the colored pencil and seeing the texture it makes on the paper.

I wanted to practice more watercolor since I feel like it’s a relaxing medium for me to work with, but I also used color pencils, a bit of acrylic, graphite pencil, and fine liners. I like throwing a bunch of mediums at a piece to get the results I want. 😂

Also I was thinking of doing some cross hatching which looked cool, but for the kind of line art I was going for I opted out. Also because I didn’t want to mess it up. 😂
