Forward walk cycle too, though I'm more used to those and robots make that easier to animate. Making a tool for measuring walking pace helped a lot for making walk cycles in general look clean and it eliminated any visible skiing or sliding.

I've been warming up to doing animations again using a quick-and-dirty dev model, and a shader for measuring floor motion. Strafing walk cycles are tough, cross-legged motion isn't elegant and anything with bulky legs makes it especially difficult. But it's helped me improve quite a bit.

seeing Rough and Tumble piloting a mech is extremely cool. I like that immensely, extremely nice change of pace from the easy route of using Eggman.

Something I see consistently from people that might lead to this is them blaming Caine for the others being trapped.

But Caine obviously does not have any control over who arrives in the circus, or an understanding of what "out" or "escape" even is. His conception of the real world is an office.
