And Indonesia specifically.

Yes. (And the entire health insurance industry.)
@christianspicer.bsky.social Just wrapping up the first episode, but coming out the gate strong with Formative Media. Great job! (And yes, Aliens > Alien)
Convinced Figma doesn't understand how enterprise costs work at all. Can't split invoices by cost centre, can't assign seat numbers to cost centres, can't attribute extra AI credits to a cost centre, don't seem to be able to stop 1 person from using the org's entire extra monthly credits.
See replies :D
Fool me 299 times, shame on capitalism.
(preemptively, no it's not real, but it's believable isn't it?)
From idea to app: Introducing Stitch, a new way to design Uls - MAY 20. 2025
Stitch Killed 1 day ago, Stitch was a tool that allowed you to turn simple prompt and image inputs into complex Ul designs and frontend code in minutes. It was almost 3 days old.
Hey #stitch looks pretty co... never mind.

If anyone (Nvidia?) needs an honest voice to tell you your AI-generated slop-machine is a terrible idea before embarrassing yourself in a public announcement, I'm available.
While my rates are indeed astronomical, you can clearly afford it, so calm down.
To better encompass its strategic priorities, Meta will be renaming its corporate brand to "Slop".
We've at least got a great meme format out of the debacle.
SpinShot is 33% off for the Playdate anniversary sale. $4
The annual #playdate anniversary sale is now on and the SpinShot wishlists have definitely been doing their (much needed) job. Thanks to all who've played it to date, and if not, it's only $4 for a bit.
play.date/games/spinsh...
(also check out Xorbius, Diora, and Wheelsprung. Fantastic games.)
Do you have to flip it upside down to charge it?
(Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm gonna change them at some point.)
I never made anything good with it but I remember having a good time, and I think it might have been my first peek into "how movies were made" (though obviously not that accurate).
Yeah I think that's a very solid read on it tbh, and also pretty bang-on with the VR comparison (I wasn't a dev there, but have been in that ecosystem since the DK1). For folks who can build something in 1-2 months, it's great!
Yeah, I know 130 sales in that timeframe is also pretty good. I've got nothing but good feedback, just from what I can tell, not a great attach rate, and there is like 1 creator I could find doing any sort of active coverage because the audience is so niche. Reddit and discord seem most active.
Tbh we all needed a good reason anyway.
Developing for #Playdate sure is a humbling experience.
3+ years of dev on and off. 130 sales in the first month. ๐ฅฒ No regrets, did it for enjoyment and learning. It's calibrated my expectations appropriately I think.
(Sale in March, wishlist perhaps? play.date/games/spinsh... )
Self-published too, just an epic win all around. So happy for them (and us who get to play it).
Public service announcement for everyone playing and loving Cairn, especially streamers. (God, it's such a good game!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rfH...
anyways, make video game
Man that's cool but I need it to be a 3rd of that price ๐ซ
God I hope so. Curated an audience around design systems and then just talk about game dev...
Not that there isn't one definable thing that good design is maybe?
May I ask why?
I've yet to see a great design be prompted without a ton of craft knowledge.
I think good design craft and design thinking remains incredibly important, and will increasingly become a differentiator if the majority of products are vibe coding towards the mean, but it'll only differentiate the companies that prioritize it and try to centre it in their processes.
The next Figma Config conference is going to be *really* interesting. I feel like we'll be able to feel the impending disruption and erosion of their position, due to the erosion of the traditional design process within orgs. I want to see how they try to stay relevant.
