@carolehailey.bsky.social shared the best phrase: write like a dog: edit like a cat. I thought this was amazing. You aren’t mauling, you’re making your work precise, balancing it on top of a fence with no chance of falling. And that turned out as a poem. Well, well.

Four large monolithic stones, with another on top. Blue sky. On grass.

Beginning to research Welsh standing stones, and stone circles for a collaboration project with some fantastic artists. Makes my brain very excited!

This is the loveliest of books. Welsh and English versions of each story, and gorgeous, bright, inviting illustrations. Great for schools!
