i finished this when i was on a long flight, was unsure of what i could do to make it look “finished” so i decided to post instead of overthink again :)

two portraits next to each other of figures facing straightforward. on the left is a sketch of an angel in back and white, and on the right is a demon but in colorful pastels. the angel’s eyes are closed and their expression is neutral, almost like a statue, they have above the shoulder length hair that is messy and their bangs drapes down the middle of their face. they have a halo above and feathered wings on both sides of their head. the angel wears no clothes, the demon has a simple turtle neck sweater on, but this drawings view is shoulders up only for the matching portraits. now the demon has straight and long hair, it is a rainbow color i drew each strand to make sure the brush strokes stand out. their eyes are open but they have a blank and unamused stare. they have pointed ears, and a singular horn on the left side of their forehead. they are missing one horn that has been broken off or lost on the right. their hair swirls and peaks around the inner frame of the demon’s own portrait. i also detailed the demon’s background with pastel stars, and the angel’s is simply filled in with sketchy brush strokes in black. it is intended to look as if i drew the angel with a standard pencil, and the demon in colored pencils. i was expressing some parts of myself when drawing this, i had a birthday recently and think of my childhood often. i used my right pointer finger and the pocket procreate app on my phone to create this piece. when i was younger, i used traditional tools like colored pencils and such to draw, of course. thank you for taking the time to visit my creation. i hope i can make more soon.
