In Denmark:
- Health care and college are free.
- The starting wage is $22/hr.
- Paid parental leave is 1 year.
- Paid vacation is 6 weeks.
- All workers get pensions.
Every day on the internet makes it abundantly clear that some people have never had a single person turn around and say to them, ‘Cite your sources’ because, and I say this with every ounce of love I can muster as a teacher: while you are entitled to your opinion, that does not make it fact.

Our parks and public lands are heavy on my mind these days. These beautiful spaces have brought peace, solace, joy, and community to countless folks and will continue to do so.
