My three suggestions for the Wedding Weekend playlist are:
“White Wedding” by Billy Idol
“The Chapel Of Love” by The Dixie Cups
“Don’t Marry Her” by The Beautiful South
Posts by John Alexander Parke Gault
Second suggestion:
“Oxygen” by Willy Mason
Because I seem to recall that some man made mechanical things have been powered by liquid oxygen just can’t quite recall what specifically.
First suggestion:
“Classical Gas” by Mason Williams
Jamiroquai - “Virtual Insanity”
Arggo santos - “Candy”
Mousse T - “Horny”
My first choice is:”N17” by The Saw Doctors.
Second choice is: “Crosstown traffic” by Jimi Hendrix.
Third choice is: “Take Me Home, Country Roads” the Toots & The Mattel’s version of the John Denver original.
The opening scene of Amadeus for years I assumed that music playing was actually spliced together for dramatic effect but it is the same piece of music by the title character.
Well my first choice was just realeased today:
“West End Girl” by Lily Allen.
My final choice is: “Great Southern Land” by Icehouse.
My second choice is: “Life In A Northern Town” by The Dream Academy.
My first choice is “Helicopter” by Bloc Party that name checks “North” & “South” in the beginning of the song.
How about: Manic Street Preachers with “If You Tolerate This Then Your Children Will Be Next.”
For the line “ If I can shoot Rabbits then I can shoot Fascists”
Note I am against the use of guns full stop.
I will have a bit more of a think for my other 2 suggestions.
Well there is only one song that I think has to be on the list and that’s “99 Luftballons” by Nena.
As for my other choices they have dark subject matter:
First is “Springtime For Hitler” from any version of The Producers
And “Tomorrow Belongs to Me” from Cabaret (1966)
Never Ever by All Saints
The Neverending Story by Limal
We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift
Sorry for being radio silent for so long on here I only realised that the weekend playlist was still going 2 weeks ago.
Hello, I will definitely check back on tomorrow as I didn’t realize the weekend playlist is still going.
@cookiecrew.bsky.social forgot about this app until just now, we chose the same song on the Radio 5 midnight mixtape.
The problem with the lacklustre sales of Assassins Creed Nexus was that Ubisoft barely did any promotion or marketing for the game, I only knew it was coming from the VR YouTubers that cover VR news.
Here by default I just can’t do META and X’s liquified BS anymore so I will be here for the foreseeable.
I am a big Americaphile but at the moment I just can’t consume any media from there for next few hours at least. I think that unfortunately the US is done for now in a lot of people’s hearts.
Just realized that I mentioned a parody account instead of the actual Sky account @skynewslaura.bsky.social

What a basic mistake that whoever wrote the FT blurb on this blog made today! NVIDIA is a hardware company not a software company. @skynewss.bsky.social
@lyricslinger.bsky.social liking the song you wrote for “mixtape” Tony.
Only just seen this was away last weekend didn’t think to check if there was a weekend playlist happening, will do the spotify playlist for this one later.
@mrcolinmurray.bsky.social good choice
Here is the spotify playlist for this week’s one, it’s a bit longer than normal as there were a few I wasn’t sure which ones was meant and also I added the definitive version of O Sole Mio after “one Cornetto”:
open.spotify.com/playlist/4Ln...
Only just noticed this will get a Spotify playlist together tomorrow if needed.
