The sea with the tail of a dolphin in the distance and a tick on the right hand side

I saw wild dolphins for the first time this morning, very excited to see them! Off the coast of Northern Ireland saw something jumping out of the water then watched them do a few jumps before heading out to sea. Only managed a photo of a tail.

It totally covers her lap and her hands are tucked into the pockets.

UCL are looking for UK-based wheelchair-using lab users to test out their design.

Is it easy to take on/off? Comfortable? How're those pockets & fastenings? Any safety concerns? etc.

Contact ucleast.labcoats@ucl.ac.uk for more info.

These are submissions and grants awarded in 2025, I expect a lot of those submitted are still in the system and awaiting a decision, so I expect not accurate success rates.

A list of park facilities with dots by them, representing what teenage girls would want to see more of in parks. Popular are swings, hammocks and balancing beams and climbing logs; unpopular are skate parks, basketball courts, BMX tracks, MUGAs.

A list of park facilities with dots by them, representing what teenage girls would want to see more of in parks. Popular are swings, hammocks and balancing beams and climbing logs; unpopular are skate parks, basketball courts, BMX tracks, MUGAs.

This comes from engagement work with teenage girls in a park in York.
And you see all those things with two dots by them. Those make up 90%+ of what we currently provide for young people in public space.
Whereas the things that girls want - they just aren't there.
Let's do better.
