OTTAWA — Population growth in Canada slowed slightly in the last quarter of the year as the government made efforts to reduce temporary migration into the country, Statistics Canada revealed Wednesday.
New net migration figures covering 2024 will be released on Thursday.
Fewer visas have been granted, so it's widely expected that numbers will fall. But here are 3 questions we'll be asking when the stats are released.
